Joanna Dafoe
Joanna is a solidarity faster, and plans to undertake a number of short fasts with CJF.
Joanna is in the final year of her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto where she takes peace and conflict studies and environmental policy. Joanna participated in the youth delegations to COP11 and COP13 and will be part of the Canadian Youth Delegation to COP15. She is a founding member of the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition and served on the Board of Directors for the Sierra Youth Coalition for three years. Joanna is the environmental justice correspondent for the radio program the Green Majority and spent her summer working as the Canadian coordinator of the international climate campaign 350.org. Joanna is fasting for her nephew Anders who is only two years old.
