Alexandra will start fasting by 15 December until the end and if needed beyond the COP15, until the required action is taken.
"I'm working for Solar Generation but i've choosen to strike as an individual. In my everyday life, I try to do all the things which are possible to make a difference. But we need the governments to take action now as well, as time is dangerously running out.
I had hope and faith during the first week of negotiations. After one week, the leaders have not reached any valuable agreement, and are playing with the future of our generation and of our children's generation.
Fasting seems to be the last solution to make them realize the importance and the consequences of what they are about to decide. Today, I have the choice not to eat anymore, for a few days... But their decision could force hunger on myself and others later on. They are deciding our future: we must do all possible things to make them assume their responsibilities."
